There are these commercials on The “N” that show teens doing crazy outrageous things to save the environment. One commercial starts with a girl in the dark and she is giggling evilly because she just removed all of the lights out of her home in an effort to save the planet. At the end of the commercial a screen comes up and a voice says, “You don’t have to go crazy to go green. Go green without going crazy.”

There are so many little things that one can to do “go green.” It all starts to seem overwhelming because we approach it so drastically. I took a step back, and went green with my wardrobe.

I used an old shirt, pictured below, and an old skirt of the same fabric, not pictured, to create a more modern hip shirt (pictured above).
